Un abito non è nulla senza una persona, un contesto, un colore. Ci può trasportare in un sogno, come l'odore della mimosa ci ricorda la primavera e le donne italiane.

 

Mimosa cerca di riassemblare un immaginario collettivo di forme e sorrisi da tutta Italia per ricompare la storia della moda al di fuori delle riviste.

 

Mimosa Archive è un progetto mirato a provvedere un ambiente sicuro e libero per l'acquisizione e ricerca del patrimonio culturale italiano. E' dedicato a tutte le persone appassionate di moda e a tutte le donne che hanno rappresentato il nostro passato.

 

Per contribuire all'arricchimento dell'archivio mimosa, basta inviare un'email a: antonia.spagnardi@gmail.com , allegare la/le foto ed indicare regione e decennio.

 

 

A dress is anything without a person, a context, a color. It can bring us into a dream, as the smell of a mimosa does when it reminds us the spring and the Italian women.

 

Mimosa is looking to resemble a collective imaginary of frames and smiles from all around Italy to recompose the history of fashion outside from the magazines.

 

Mimosa archive is a project aimed to provide a secure environment for the acquisition and research of Italian cultural heritage. It is dedicated to all the people passionate about fashion and to all the women who made up our past.
